Today I got 2 new DVDs. Sahara Cross (1977, Tonino Valerii), with Franco Nero; and L'Allenatore nel Pallone (1984, Sergio Martino), a soccor-comedy with Lino Banfi, but it's only in Italian and no subtitles... Too bad...
Sahara Cross is very enjoyable, shame the picture quality on the dvd isn't that great(i actually prefer my Dutch ex-rental on EVC) though NEW Entertainment are a cool label and are about to release an uncut English language SE of Fulci's BEATRICE CENCI :-)
I am indeed disappointed by the image and sound quality of Sahara Cross, but it's better then not be able to watch at all...
I also have some ex-rentals, and somehow i really enjoy watching them. Maybe it's sort of a sentimental value... or maybe the vhs-image quality just fits most of these b-films.
